Andersen Phase I (current phase)

26 March 2026 – The WECRD Aquatic Center continues to move forward — slow and steady, but with solid progress. We’ve placed orders for the CMU blocks and reinforced steel needed for the interior walls, and Andersen Construction will soon begin coordinating utilities for their temporary setup as they prepare to start wall installation.

23 March 2026 – The CMU block is being ordered today. The color palette is simple, with the darker shade used as an accent trim and the lighter shade serving as the primary color. These selections were made to allow flexibility for future decor choices, including the option for paint or murals.

16 March 2026 – Marcus Mashburn has made impressive progress on the Aquatic Center painting, and we were thrilled to showcase his work during several recent tours of the facility

18 February 2026 – Marcus Mashburn was back at the library painting again, this time with help from Melanie, another talented artist!

11 February 2026 – A special thanks to Marcus Mashburn for his continued work on the Aquatic Center painting. We’re excited to see the finished piece. He is painting at the Mountain Home Public Library

28 January 2026 – A beautiful sunset photo of the Aquatic Center, captured by John Martin of Martin CPAs. We appreciate the fantastic photo!

18 December 2025 – The WECRD Board has selected a new Construction Manager, and Andersen Construction received unanimous support. We sincerely appreciate every company that submitted a bid package—your time, effort, and extensive experience were truly valued.
