An annual appeal letter will be mailed out soon and we are updating our contact list, hopefully you are on it but if you don’t receive one, please contact us so we can add you to our list!
Our design team is working on updating our construction plans to meet the newly adopted 2018 building codes that were implemented this January by the City of Mountain Home. Our plans were stamped with 2015 codes but actually designed with the 2018 codes in mind so there won’t be too much change but has to be stamped 2018 to meet the building permit requirements.
We are moving forward in the process of finalizing the Innovative Readiness Training program with the National Guard. They are planning a site visit in May or June. Exciting!!!
We have met with the City to discuss our easement agreement on 18th Street regarding the retention pond. We have agreed to new terms, we are waiting on the final document to review and sign.
The Board also met with the City to discuss possible partnership ideas on the pool and recreation center.
Our next step, once the construction plans are updated with the new code, is to go out for bid for our next phase of the build.
Phew!
If you ever have questions or comments please contact us or attend our monthly board meeting. Our next one is Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 6pm at the WECRD Building (245 E 6th S).
