LCA presented an overview of the indoor pool facility to the board, staff, and community members. LCA reviewed the findings from the site survey that was conducted and they will be able to coordinate their design plans using what was already done to the land previously. (Such as fire hydrants, wells, water valves, etc.) The building plans are beginning to get detailed and the board and staff will continue to work closely with LCA and WTI on getting the plans finalized. The next step is hiring a Construction Manager / General Contractor. The WECRD received four proposals and will interview three of the companies on January 8, 2019.
The WECRD board and staff are continuing to update their policies and are working on a business plan. The Foundation is receiving donations and will be applying for various grant opportunities.
The next regular scheduled board meeting will be January 23, 2019 at 6:00pm.
