The special board meeting of March 28, 2018 for the WECRD covered a few old and new business topics of interest. The first draft of a 10 year lease with the City of Mountain Home, (with a five year optional extension) for the Minor Field Dugouts is complete and will be presented to the City of Mountain Home soon. As the process continues to move forward, it should result in a new partnership for the WECRD with the City of Mountain Home.
The upcoming Farmers Market and Crazee Dayz, to be held at Railroad Park were also discussed and both groups will be present at future regular board meetings.
The hiring a new District Administrator was also addressed, as the current Administrator may be leaving some time next month.
